Northern California - Summertime at the beach, right? Wrong!

Beaches ... Summer Time. . . The two just seem to go together, right? Well, maybe this will get a surprise, but Summertime is not always the best time to visit the beaches of Northern California.

Amazing but true!

You see, during the summer experience reversals NorCal weather, which was close to that of the country often lead to fog.

I'm not talking about a light mist that evaporates as soon as the sun rises. I'm talking about myself veryFog! This is usually a low, damp, cloudy fog that can last from a few hours the whole day or even several days.

But Northern California to visit at any time from mid-September to around April and the possibility is a beautiful sunny day between the temperature in the mid 60s to mid 70s, unless, of course, c ' is a storm in the city. "The Winter is the rainy season in Northern California. But it does not rain all the time. In fact, did not even move the mostTime!

And NorCal beaches offer such a variety! You can find rugged coastlines, sandy beaches, bays, wood, jade, sea stacks, streams and waterfalls, hiking trails, fishing and crabbing and riding along the beach.

Here is a selection of things to do, sunbathe on the beach of Northern California (near the pool):

Surf - there are some really good surf spots
Birdwatching - you will find many migratory birds in winteras the American oystercatcher
Beach runner on drift wood, jade, shells and glass beads - particularly after the storm
Watch for sea otters, migrating whales, sea lions and seals
Walking along the beaches and cliffs
Fishing
As diving (abalone you?)
Catching some beautiful sunsets

Then visit Big Sur, Monterey, Santa Cruz, Sausalito, Mendocino, or any other beach area of Northern California, from September toApril and enjoy the best weather on the coast. You will not regret!
